“I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution
of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that
I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey
the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the
officers appointed over me, according to the regulations and the Uniform
Code of Military Justice. So help me God.”

That is the oath given by every man and woman who enters the United
States military. These are a class of individuals who are willing to lay their
lives on the line in defense of their nation, and ask for so very little in
return. These brave men and women comprise a list of; 1.6 Million
Deployed, 4,232 Killed, 30,981 Wounded, 180,633 Disability Claims,
2,095 Compensated. These individuals are amputees, cancer patients,
paralysis victims, and sufferers of post-traumatic stress disorder.

It is the aim of this film to document the disabled veterans very real
struggles upon returning from battle, and the steps they take to move
forward in a positive way in light of their newfound circumstance.

This documentary will focus on the very human aspect of resilient
individuals motivating themselves to travel down the middle of
America, and accomplish a goal few people could ever achieve.
They will share their stories of survival, triumph, and tribulation
along the journey. This documentary will investigate, inform, but
most all INSPIRE. Join these brave souls in “Uniting the Divide”.

It is ultimately our goal to make more than a film. We created this
website with the full intention of furthering the cause of supporting
disabled veterans in receiving healthcare assistance from private
organizations and the government. Once the budget for the feature
documentary has been met, all proceeds will flow into a fund
specifically designed to aid disabled veterans. Furthermore, all of the
motorcycles ridden by the participating Veterans in this documentary
will be auctioned off for charity after the ride is completed.

This is NOT a Democrat issue. This is NOT a Republican issue. This is
a HUMAN issue that we must all strive to mend together. Understand
that we as filmmakers bare no partisan agenda in marking this cause.
Our motivation is based on knowing that we must do ALL we can as
Americans to aid those who have protected our country with their
lives. We must seek to LOOK toward working together in assisting
Veterans in any way we can. “Uniting the Divide” aims to be a catalyst
to spark such a transformation.
